Are you a first time dog owner but have no clue what to do? Is your dog going through adolescence and starting to test boundaries?

We offer training courses for you to get your dog back on track.

We have a variety of classes for your dog to enjoy at Canine Company. We use positive reinforcement methods and focus training techniques to ensure that YOU are the centre of your dogs world. Together you and your dog can brush up that obedience training or have fun with our agility courses. All classes are designed to be fun for your dog and aim to build the bond between owner and dog. These classes are not strict or competitive. We understand that each dog is unique and will learn at different speeds. It is about providing owners with the tools to gain a more responsive dog and enjoy spending time together. During the classes you can build your confidence with your dog in a secure setting.  We also provide one-off Taster Classes so you can try different training to suit you.

Obedience Classes - Help! my dog keeps jumping!

We provide a 4 week course covering skills such as heelwork, focus training, basic commands, recall and house manners. Perfect for dogs who pull on lead, excitedly jump up at people or have poor recall. At the end of the course, owners will be provided with a pack for continued training and dogs will receive our obedience certificate. Suitable for dogs of all ages, our training sessions range from beginner to advanced levels.

Agility & Hoopers Classes - fun with your dog

We provide Agility, Flyball and Canine Hoopers courses on our secure field. These courses are not competitive and a great opportunity for owners to work with their dog in a fun and safe environment. Dogs must be at least 12 months to participate in agility.

Our classes sell out FAST - to get priority booking simply subscribe to our newsletter and we will contact you when the next class is available.

Elise & all the other staff we have met are just so lovely, friendly and professional. They are so passionate about dogs health and well-being and making sure they make the best doggy friends in their care. Would highly recommend, it has really helped socialise our pup in the best environment as I was really keen to make sure he knew how to play and interact with other dog when on walks etc.

We struggled to find the right fit for our 2 year old collie. A local dogwalker recommended Canine Company and from the moment we met Elise we knew this was the right place. Our pup goes to play with his friends twice a week and is loving it. Not only is this evident in the pictures we see each day he is there, but also in his behaviour. Speaking of, the advice and tips we have been given have been invaluable in helping with his lead walking and recall. In a nutshell, an amazing place. So glad we found you, Canine Company!

Molly our 18 month Labradoodle has been going for a run and play with her doggy friends since she was young. Elise and John are fantastic with her as she is an anxious dog at times but she loves them. I go to work knowing she will have a great time and this is so much better than her being alone all day. I love looking on Facebook to see what Molly has been up to each time she goes and she’s been on a few treks and the photos were amazing. I thought she had a better day than me at work.

Went to their open air training, really enjoyable for both me and my dog. Relaxed atmosphere and the dog’s best was good enough. Each class felt like a celebration of dogs and not a military parade ground! Thank you

Our working cocker spaniel, Oti, has loved her weekly walks with canine company. Its great to see the video at the end of the day and see her having the best time! They have been great in their communication with me and I fully trust them with my dog. They really care about and know the dogs they look after. I would 100% go to them for any advice as well, they really know their stuff!

Couldn’t ask for a more friendly, trusting dog walking service! My dog Ralph has been walking with Canine Company for nearly a year now and due to my shift pattern they always fit Ralph in! I wouldn’t use anybody else!

Charlie is always exhausted after his walks. He absolutely loves going with John, Eli and the rest of the gang. Always prompt, trustworthy and dogs are put first especially in this recent hot weather.

We're so glad we starting using Elise and John's walking service. They take our (sweet but quite mad) terrier, Dilly, out twice a week and she comes back exhausted and so happy. She gets great doggy socialising time and running about time, and we know we can trust Elise and John to take good care of her and all the other dogs. It's also a very good sign that Dilly actively tries to get into their garden to cuddle them every time we take her past their house, so clearly she's a fan too!

Digby our Labrador has been having energetic & fun walks with Elise & John now since January. They are very trustworthy / reliable people & when you talk to both of them it is clear how much they care about each & every dog they walk. Digby loves playing /walking with others dogs, which comes across in the photos they put of every walk on Facebook. I would highly recommend them if you want a happy & tired dog when you get home from work.

My dog Albie has being going on walks with Eli and John for just under a year now, they take incredibly good care of him and he always comes back tired and happy. Eli and John are extremely professional and dedicated and have been very accommodating and flexible at short notice. I feel happy and confident leaving Albie with them both knowing he is in safe hands and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their brilliant company to others.
